Do you recognise this chassis design

Does anyone recognise this chassis design. I believe it's Rorty IRS at the rear, but front doesn't match the Ron Champion book measurements. Any ideas? Rescued attachment DSCN0602.JPG

EDIT: changed my mind, looking at the back half it's not *that* like a Locost.

You got any clearer pics of the rear?

My first thought was westfield......

then i saw how the front vertical that holds the rear wishbone mount is welded and thought home made.

I'll try to get some picture of rear. The chassis is about an inch narrower, top and bottom at the front.

It looks a lot like MK, but theirs is bent around the top. Very similar though.

Silly question maybe.... where'd you get it from?

Can't you ask the seller?

The braces are similar, but it also looks like the Haynes Roadster. Hey, what do I know? It's a Locost...

possibly designed from the "Ron Champion" Locost, look at the engine support/braces G1 +G2, the way that they bend then go flush with the outer rails.
This is as is shown in the pictures in the book but NOT on the plans in the book.

Maybe Chairman Ron himself built it! Hence the FU situation... even the designer himself can't follow those plans!

Rorty back end though...hmmm...

Maybe Chairman Ron *is* Rorty in disguise.

Afterall, Rorty is in Australia and that *is* where they send all the crooks!

Hah! You can't hide from us Ron. Your only hope is the 'Build your own starship for £250' design.
Just don't flog the plans to Haynes publishing or we'll be after you even 'up there'!

Cheers,
James
