A cost effective way of increasing power to weight

Have been looking at carbon fibre components, alloy bits and pieces etc etc and have decided that one of the most cost effective ways of shedding pounds off the overall total is..........liposuction!
Even better if youre somewhere like Mexico on holls!
Why has no one thought of this before?
May be potential for a group buy?
Cheers

how about saving your money on liposuction and just getting ill, obviously a stomach or intestinal infection is best, when i got ill i lost 10kgs in weight in the space of a few weeks, purely from not eating!

bring on the raw chicken i say (not me tho i only way 9 1/2 st)

Since my weight went up to 16st 7lb in Jan, I decided to do something about it. This is not an advert for Paul Mckenna, but it worked/works for me.
It's pretty simple.
When you are hungry....eat.
Eat what you want.
Eat slowly and pay attention to the flavour of your food.
As soon as you start feeling a sense of no longer being hungry, stop eating.

Since Jan I have lost 1st 4lb and lost 2" off my waist.
I still have at least 2-3st to go.

All that without taking out a supscription at my local gym.

Diets do not work, you need to change your attitude (and habits) towards food.
Hope this helps!

You could try running a marathon.

I lost 2 stone, raised £2,700 and could eat anything I wanted for months!!!!

Maybe there is a charity for Locost Builders with a Carbon Fibre Addiction.

Does make you smile though, when someone in the paddock tells you that the carbon backpanel he's fitted is 1Kg lighter than the alloy. and it's enabled him to lap a few seconds quicker...... as he painfully squeezes 18 stone of lard into a very wide seat in a very narrow cockpit.

As an addition to not eating pies (negative cost per kilo!) you could try shaving bits off the engine, I'm sure there are some lumps of metal sticking out for no apparent reason or you could grind a few mm off some edges...

Chuck out the passenger seat too.

That's all I can think of right now

Take out the passenger seat, after all, the only friends that kit car builders have (having spent years in a darkened garage) are other kit car builders who also have their own cars. This means that after a while we will start seeing an evolution towards single seater kits. Oh, wait, this is starting to happen.
The next step in the quest for more power to weight would be putting a bike engine into a single seater with less running gear. Say, remove one front and one rear wheel, sort of like a bicycle. Clever design and construction would mean that the driver could stabilise the vehicle at junctions etc using his legs. We could call it a BEB???

That's just pure craziness. An idea that radical will never catch on....

I've seen something from switzerland like this, only instead of using his legs these stabiliser things pop out the sides at low speeds.

Twas on Clarkson's motorworld I think, watch Dave for a few saturdays and you'll find it
