Karting in Leeds
Hi all,
I've got a karting session running at Leeds (http://www.ppik.net/) but am 3 people short.
It's on Saturday the 25th April at 11:00am.
It's 10 minutes qualifying to set the grid and then a 40 minute endurance race with all 18 cars on the track at once.
Price is £40, but I need a deposit of £10 (or the full amount) asap.
It's an awesome indoor track with a bridge and tunnel and long ish straight.
The other 15 people are all MX5 drivers, most with track experience and two race/drift instructors as well so it will be very competative.

Sadly can't make it on that day, otherwise I'd have been up for it.
However for anyone who's not been to PPIK, it's a very good indoor circuit. They got new karts a couple of years ago too, and
that're not the old cronky ones you have to shake your body back-and-forth just to set off!
Overtaking on the outside at full throttle on the left-hander before going under the tunnel is the best bit for me

That left hander into the tunnel get all 4 wheels off the floor if you're flat out!
I like the straight - 3 abreast into the top hairpin is great fun ;-)
1 place left now......
