550 Spyder & 356 speedster?
Like the title, who makes Porsche 550 en 356 replica's at this moment?
Are Pilgrim and Tygan still the only ones or is there more on the market?

I looked into this a short while back, there's a company in the states that did one but tbh I quite liked the Pilgrim one though these are
always going to be quite expensive cars to build. You can buy brand new floorpans from VW heritage if you don't want to deal with a rusty one,
though the pans halves aren’t to expensive. Have a look at the beetle cabriolet sill strengtheners as you'll need them (wasn't to
impressed with the Pilgrim things)
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet

Chesil are now back in business having been bought back by the original owner.
From http://www.totalkitcar.com/news.php
quote: Chesil…………..now back under the control of Peter Bailey, has announced kit prices for the Speedster range. Base kits come in at £4939 although
until the end of May they have a special offer on their more extensive full body package, which currently costs £6278 inc VAT.

I always wanted a Speedster, one of the nicest looking cars ever IMO. Good luck if you do decide to build one.

Was the 550 a Martin & Walker? Not cheap but very nice.

No wonder it never fitted, the banham 550 was designed to fit onto a skoda floorpan not a metro (like most of his other cars). Dimensionally
it's longer than the real 550 to avoid shortening wheelbase.
