Just cancelled SVA test

Just cancelled SVA for tomorrow. Just for everyone else's info the guys at Derby said that I will lose £58 off the fee paid and will get a cheque back for the rest.
They said that I will have to go for IVA now and that I need to do the following:

Download form IVA1
Go to www.transportoffice.gov.uk
Search for IVA M1 manual (which is for passenger cars)
Read paragraph 4 as it details the changes for IVA compared to SVA.

If I had cancelled 3 days prior I would have had a full refund.

Right, back to the garage!

at least you're getting some of the fee refunded

is the iva manual just downloaded for free now? you don'y have to buy it like the SVA one?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

.... but if you had dragged it to the centre, and they would have refused to test it, would you have got a 6 month extension for SVA retest ?

HI, had to cancel my sva on tuesday too, also at Derby on 27th. The tester will be able to have a bit of a rest wont he.

The guy who called back said I would get a full refund as I let them know in time , but it would probably take 4 or 5 weeks. Ah well can put the money towards the iva test.
