This has been offered as a pinto sump from a lefty

Am I missing something ? why would a LHD car have a different sump ?

although that does look like it would fit a Pinto - it doesn't look like any RS2000 sump I've seen before........

it is an rs2000 sump but missing the baffle plate

I agree, its an RS2000 sump and yes they are handed. I bought one last week from a rhd car and that wedge-shaped extension is on the other side - see also other pics on e-bay.

The wing will clash with the starter motor

get the proper rs2 bellhousing and iy is possible to mount the started on either side
