28mm copper pipe?

Does anyone know where I could get a couple of 2 meter lengths of 28mm diameter copper pipe?

Is this something a local plumbers merchant might have? Everyone online wants to sell me 30 meters or more!

Cheers

Chris

have a look in the yellow pages for a commercial plumber or someone who fits oil fired heating, call in for some off cuts for beer tokens. i've just used some on mine, careful if you need fittings they ain't cheap.

B&Q sell 28mmx3m in the larger stores (£25 ish).
Not the cheapest place in the world but no postage.

Do you have a plumb center close by?

Screwfix sell 5x3m lengths for £70 ish

BnQ have it. 26 quid for a 3 metre length.
I have a length i bought last week in my garage iv got to take back, my neighbour got me some foc.
Plumbers mechant will have it but i doubt its much cheaper.

If you need elbows get them from screwfix. £2.73 each for compression elbows.. I needed one in a hurry to finish a job and went to plumb base £12.38 for 1!!!!

if you go to the plumbers merchants, stick your decorating gear on first and it's likely they'll give you the trade price without asking. I've done it a few times

I bought some 28mm a few years ago and recently went back to get a bit more. I nearly fell through the floor when he told me the price now

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
