fuel tank gasket
I need a gasket to seal my sender unit to my tank, 60 ish internal 80 ish external, any ideas?
Would ordinary rubber work, maybe something like tyre inner tube?
Any ideas greatfully received!
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

You need 'Nebar' jointing. It's a cork type material. I can send you a bit if you can't get any locally.

Any engineering place should have some. We use it at work for making joints (gaskets to you heathens) on gearboxes and such stuff.
