Holiday speeding fine

Coming back of my hols today and i think i have been caught speeding. Going along the duel carrage way at the swaffham bypass (A47)

Where can i find out what the speed limits are on that road?

Thought it was 70mph road but maybe not.

I think you will find that open limit single carriage ways are 60mph.

Open limit duals and motorways are 70mph.

Matt,
If you want to know how to get out of it without a fine or points, assuming you get an NIP send me a U2U and I'll tell you what I did. I got caught doing 72 in a 60 and I've avoided even a fixed penalty.

Lets hope it was 70! I was the front of a group of cars in the fast lane with a couple of cars in the slow lane, they saw the mobile speed camera and slammed on there brakes but i carried on at 70 and ended up all by myself like a sitting duck.

Lets hope you are all right.

I'm tellin' ya' its 70 down there

People do all sorts of stupid things when they see a speed camera, like slowing down when they are already going under the limit.

Most people have no idea at what speed they are driving!

Braking heavily on the sight of a mobile or fixed 'safety' camera, is pretty much something you anticipate. It happens.
Yep, I've done it enough times. You're scanning for cameras, scanning, scanning, scanning, you're unsure of the limit, you see a camera.... brrraaakke.
Great one on the A26 going into Southborough on Xmas day, I witnessed a failure of the following car to react when the guy in front slammed them on down a hill on seeing a Safety camera. Quite a heavy smash, ruined their day.

cant agree with you there mate. Heavy braking for a camera is stupid, and easily avoided if you know the limit (there's no real excuse not to really) and have your eyes open enough to see them before its too late. Really gets on my wick when people slow down excessively.
