pinto fuel system again

hi, jus to make 100% clear i now know that i dont need the fuel vapour separator, but what do i do with the pipe that was run to it, and goes back to the top of the tank? do i take it off at the tank or put a filter breather on the end of the pipe? cheers again ben

Just think of it like a big fuel filter, you have fuel in and fuel out, the tube at the top is where the vapour came out, in fact why not get a fuel filter and use that to join the two fuel pipes together?

Having read your post thoroughly now Yes take it off at the tank! But put one of those 1 way fuel breathers on in case you roll your car.

My carb is set up with two connections at the carb itself.




The clear, fibre reinforced hose feeds into the carbs integral filter housing and then vapour/excess fuel exits the filter via an orifice into the black hose for return to the tank.
