I am also about get at fuel tank.
So would be interested in what you will be going for, to hopefully compare ideas.
Size - I am wanting a slightly larger (taller) one than you at 8 gallons.
Swirl pot - central position hanging down.
Internal baffles - open to ideas
Fuel injection tank
- outlet (Jic 6) from swirl pot. Low position.
- inlet return from fuel regulator (Jic 6 or smaller?) Where should this return be? near top of tank (so that hot(er) returned fuel is returned to top
of tank and not used in outlet - or will this cause problems on low fuel?).
- vent with valve.
- position of fuel filler (is yet to be decided but needs to be on the top of the tank).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hey RoadkillUK, in your avatar you show a Locost that got rear-ended. Do you have any info on what that did to the fuel tank?

There were a couple of dents where the deformed chassis box section had hit it, the main damage was in the pic below.
The whole car held up suprisingly well for a pretty heavy impact
The new tank from Deneo is even better constructed than the old one.
