Yes, but just check the diff ratio to see if it will do for a BEC.

Not really into bikes, but I thought you needed the highest ratio you could get for a bike engine, the 1.8TD has a 3.92:1 diff if its any help

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

for a bike engine car you need a lower ratio ie 3.38 or 3.54.
a 3.92 wouldn't be any good, i would give a car that revs too high, which wouldn't give a very good cruising speed.

i personally think the 3.38 gives the best of both worlds, a car that can cruise and scream when you want it to. the only problem is they are very hard to get hold of, i think they were fitted to the estate sierra (maybe auto only) there is a list in the front of the haynes manual.
a 3.54 is another good one and alittle easier to find. dont fit a 3.62, you'll end up with a car that will only do about 105/110, 0-60 will be good if your tyres are up to it.
note, you can't (afaik) get 3.38 lsd unless you pay quiafe money.
