Can you recommend a good tyre?

Hi.
I am looking to buy new tyres for my Quantum Extreme.
Can anybody recommend a good all round tyre for wet and dry conditions?
I was thinking of Uniroyal Rainsport 2, or Yokohama parada 2.
Or can you give me a better opinion?
I would really appreciate any advice, on any tyre, including speed rating (H or V rated).
Thank you in advance.

Dave.

Toyo T1R, Falken FK452 and Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta are all very good budget performance tyres (Vredestein cost a bit more, but sit up with Goodyear Eagle F1's in most respects).

However, you didn't mention tyre size, if they are less than 15" rims then availability of reasonably priced good tyres is much more limited.

Paradas stick like smelly stuff to a blanket in the dry, but wet performance leaves an awful lot to be desired IME.

Awesome price.

Thank you to everybody who has replied.
Think its a toss up between The Toyo T1R, and Yoko Parada 2.

I'd second the recommendations for the Falken FK452 tyres. Best place I've found to buy them is www.camskill.co.uk and they have a price promise on Falkens in case you find them cheaper elsewhere. Camskill also deliver really quickly (next day if ordered before 1pm) so they are very handy. You can buy Toyo's there too.

Good luck,
Craig.
