Reversing switch for type 9

How common are these at motor factors, according to Burton Power they fit types 2,3,5,9,E & F at about £12 plus delivery.

Just realised I have to hold the stick over for mine to work so need to get another one.

Just wondering as I guess a phone call in the morning will let me know.

Not sure about IVA, but you didn't need a reverse light for SVA and you certainly don't for MOT.

Might save yourself some time and money

I read it as they are now mandatory for IVA and must be operational.

Section 29 of the manual.

A few phone calls in the morning and half an hour on the car will sort it I hope.

I'd have thought that Unipart would have / be able to get one fairly quickly. They were cheap as chips when I wanted a VR sensor. NTDWM, BTW

I got mine from eBay - this guy (NTDWM - link here) seems to have loads as he always has one listed, and even listed a box full at one point!!

Try sending him a message to see if he'll do one at a reasonable price if you can't wait for auction to close.

Like the listing says it's old stock, slightly tarnished but the one I got cleaned up fine and works great.
