thanks for that

i have installed movie maker but i get this message when i try to import a video

help again please

Documents\Home\sean\MPEG0010.AVI cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

If you download the GSpot progran from here

http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

And run it,you can then find out what codec you need to get the file you want to edit in Movie Maker.

Movie Maker gets a thumbs up from me too
