GTS wishbones, sierra upright

I'm in the process of fitting the suspension brackets to the chassis. The setup Ill be using is GTS "wide" wishbones and sierra uprights. As the wishbones are of different dimensions and the upright is also different than the book ones I'm a bit unsure where to place the suspension brackets.
Any recommendations?

I would wait untill you get the wishbones, then decide, you may end up buying alternatives.

I all ready have the wishbones. I'm jut unsure where to place the top and bottom suspension brackets to get good geometry from the start.

I would get the bottom wishbone in roughly the right area. Then measure at least 7degree of caster. This will give you the location of the top brackets. If it doesn't match up with the tubes then tweak until does.

Height wise, I'm not sure, but I think they should sit roughly parrellel when bottom wishbone is horizontal. But please check that bit

I'm pretty sure the GTS is Locost based (the W7DE is just 4" wider) so therefore I'm pretty sure you should fit them as per 'the book' by which I mean of course the Ron Champion Locost book.

If you look in my archive here:

there are the dimensions you need and also pics of how to make a simple and effective chassis jig.

Hope that helps,
James

@James

The GTS top bones are 7mm wider, and the bottom ones are 2mm wider than in the book.
