Clutch Cover for Pinto to Zetec Conversion

The only bit outstanding for the conversion is the clutch cover.

My engine is from a 1.6 Fiesta SI (zetec 16v)
I think the part number is Q10066, as i am going to use the existing pinto friction plate.

who knows of a really cheap supplier of clutch parts.

Cheers,

B

is the plate the correct size?? I thought the 1.6 zetec plate had a smaller centre than the input shaft on a type 9 ?

what i did was go to a motor factor, and go through the catalog of clutch plates til i found one that fit the gearbox, and fit the flywheel.
the motor factor catalog will give all the info you need

i measured the clutch plate out my engine (220mm i think it was?) and i found a sierra clutch which was 215mm or something. wasn't much smaller anyway. the guy that built my engine was quite happy it was up to the job anyway

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
