I'm guessing the BMW based kit announcement is not connected with the the Midi......just happen to be on the same page...that's my thinking...

Following on from the well received GKDs
http://www.gkdsportscars.com/

To be fair it wont be long before alot of manufacturers look to the very few other donr options.
MNR and Westfield have gone for the MX5, GKD and Martin Keenan (not MK!- sort of) are looking at BMs.
Apart big Vauxhalls and Volvos, some Japs wagons, there arent many other RWD options for donors, it wont be long till sierras go the way of the cortina/escorts. Ok theres plent of sierra parts around, but that doesnt help people looking to go down the one car 'age related plate' method of building.

Quite like the Midi. Just looking at the photos though, it seems the front bones have two bolts in-single shear don't like that, maybe this has changed??

not an optimal design ideally, but has the advantage that any impact on a wheel wont damage the chassis. IIRC, that midi has been crashed significantly 3 times now, and has been repairable each time
