What job is it for ?

I make my mind up quick whether to employ someone, but have been too busy to ring people back on time.

Call 'em;

Scenarios;

You didn't get it - they will tell you, no change
You got it - they will tell you, no change
They haven't decided yet - you sound interested, but it won't change their mind for them..

Tugging at his long, grey beard - no really - I would give them a quick call - "Thought the interview went well last week and just wanted to know how my application was progressing?".
From the other side of the interview table I've always thought the candidates who were keen/hungry enough to follow up were the ones to go for.
Be sure however to strike a good balance between being keen but not desperate.

Probably a no from experience BUT you have nothing to lose by calling and then at least you'll know for sure.......

its because most people dont like confrontation... so would sooner say nothing then tell someone they didnt get it and possibly get abuse back!

Still let us know how it goes !!
