Locostbuilders took beer glass building to the MAX

So much so the organizer sent the security to hold the ladder and they want to make it official next year

We have some other pictures but if anyone has some send them....team Dave1888 Macspeedy and Mango with support from a stack of kids and marlin club owners who did a lot of drinking as well as a lot of donations of empty's that appeared at the top table.
Oh and thanks to the security who held the ladders dave found instead of throwing us out
then we upped the ante

First try

Ian Adam and I have some good pictures. they should be in the stoneleigh edition of ckc mag.

it could become an official competition but drunk people up ladders may need a rethink if the H&S Person gets involved, although it was good fun.

PC Edit... H&s Man Changed to person

reviewing the pictures

First Place was LocostBuilders
Second Place Vindicator
Third Place Haynes Sportscar Builders.

Aye, but we (Roadster lot) would have won if you hadn't had the ladders (Oh and if somebody didn't accidentlally knock the table and make it fall down!)

It was a good night and the band was good too, I like the Jam, hope there's no pictorial evidence of me moving to a town called malice, especially after all the beer that was drunk. Was about 14:30 by the time my hangover wore off, not used to it!

Take care

Rich

We were on the next but one table to the guys with the ladder.

I was far too scattered to even contemplate trying one myself. However, I did my fair share and donated more than enough empty pint glasses.

T'was good fun.

The true skill was taking one out from 30m with a bottle top. Amazing the skill that comes out with the scent of a £10 bet.
