HT leads

I have moved the coils on the fireblade engine and have had to use longer leads. the leads are the wire centre type. the sva states that the leads must not cause interference. will the wire pass the sva. I am using the fireblade plug caps. If carbon leads have to be used how do you fit them the the Honda pkug caps? david

You need HT cable that is marked to confirm that it supresses interference, you should be able to get it from a motor factor etc.

I had trouble getting this lead in NI, so I wound up buying some HT coil leads and chopped them, then made my own leads up using dodgy roger's info. It's fairly straight forward.
My leads say Hotwires Silicon 15kohms. I can't say for definite if the SVA guy looked (he probably did) but I'd say as long as he saw the 15kOhm and the Silicon bit's he'd have been satisfied.
