modifying tank for swirl pot and injection pump

I need to fit a swirl pot and fuel injection pump to a fuel tank that was using just a carb, could I get my steel tank modified for this? I don't really want to use a stand alone swirl pot as I don't have a lot of space and want to do the conversion as tidy as possible. I know I could get a custom tank made but would like to keep costs down, the fuel tank is not seen so I don't need a fancy alloy job. Thanks

You may not need a swirl pot. You could just use a high pressure inline pump and plumb in a return line to the tank. Swirl pots are useful but not totally necessary unless you're going to be pulling massive lateral Gs when they can help with fuel starvation but most tintops don't bother
