What fuel hose?
I have been reading old posts on fuel hose and it seems that it is a bit of a problem area.
Having searched around i have found hose from a few pounds per metre to £32 a metre.
Anyone have any good recommendations on what hose and where to buy it?
Its a carb setup!

I have used the cheap braided ebay stuff on mine but after the recent threads, i think il upgrade to stainless braided after IVA.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

for carb set up, as its low fuel fressure, rubber hose will be fine with fuel hose clips to secure it (NOT jubalee clips). Make sure that the hose is
marked up that it is fuel hose.
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

Personally I wouldn't go with braided as it makes it impossible to inspect the condition of the rubber.
I've got FSE hoses (available direct or from Demon Tweaks) fro both my fuel system and brake reservoir
connections. They provide spec sheets for the hoses which gives me some confidence in the quality/longevity, and is also very useful for IVA.

Quite... Or get stuff from the spares departments ford ect... More difficult for filler hoses (particularly the flexible type).

I started with Gates fuel hose - it decayed after about 4 years.

Not sure where I got mine from, but when I turn the ignition on, the high pressure line squirts fuel everywhere..that's 5 years after
install.
Stainless braided stuff from reputable supplier, too. Just can't remember if it was Think or Merlin...

Now that's a thought - I have a number of chandlers near to where I live (south of Ipswich). Never cheap, but I wonder if they have decent
quality stuff.
What *really* annoys me is that my bike fuel pump has a bit of flexible pipe on its outlet - it's very flexible, quite soft and light grey, and
it shows absolutely no sign of failing... it looks as good as new, but it's probably heading for 10 years old. Where can I buy a half-metre of
that stuff!

Saw some other posts on other sights about marine fuel hose and I went and bought some just now. About 4 quid a mete so we shall have to see if it
does the job.
