The Vulcan will be flying at this years Waddington Airshow.

After a successful test flight yesterday, the Civil Aviation Authority has today approved it's licence to display.

Last year, the historic aircraft was grounded after a problem with the same licence....now though it's been fast-tracked through, meaning the bomber can attend

for anyone who hasnt experienced a fly past from a Vulcan - its one hell of an experience!!! You wouldnt believe a plane could physically affect you like this one!!

Get yourself there if you can - its worth it having been 250ft below one years ago when they still allowed the planes near the crowd

It MAY fly but I'm told it won't be landing at Waddo.. it'll just be doing a fly through/display and disappearing again..
After last years c**k up why the hell didn't they do the permit to fly in Nov so they have all winter to sort out any problems ready for the airshow season?
The annual permit is just that. ANNUAL! That means it runs out at the same time every year (middle of airshow season) unless they alter it..
Last year it went to Waddington in the full knowledge that it's permit would expire next day and couldn't fly. Why did it go.. maybe they get paid if they turn up but don't fly rather than cancel and don't fly...
The current management are on salaries whilst the ones doing the work are volunteers... it's a joke...
They've upset just about everyone in the trade and now they're taking the Pee out of the public who's money made it possible to fly again... if it carries on like this it'll be up for sale to the USA or Japan before long..enjoy it whilst you can but don't give this abortion of a management team any more of your money.
Rant over...
