tps help

My tps shows 100 when throttle is closed and seems to work fine on my alpha n map but some one has told me this is not right and needs to be sorted it should be at 0 - 30 at closed the only problem is i have clearance probs and can not turn tps can any one tell me if it is ok to leave it as is or is there another way of getting it down. many thanks.

MS1 or 2 and what is the fully open value?

The range is what is important mine goes from 60 to 205 with MS1 alpha n.
You need a wide enough range to give good resolution.

v 2.2 and is 255 when fully open.

Looks like you aren't getting full range. 255 is the maximum value for MS1, and it might reach that value at only, say, 80% throttle opening. Try holding the throttle at different positions when you click the button to see how far off fully open you are.

gsxr throttle bodies go from around 80 to 210, and work fine (mostly).

I don't think that your 100 is a problem. My concern would be whether you are getting 255 before the throttle butterflies are totally open. If you are then you have no sensitivity at the region around WOT.

Thanks for your help i will have a look. so if it goes smoothly with out jumping straight to 255 before wot then its ok to use as it is.
