Quick question regarding different grades of steel

Morning All,

i am going to go and get some 1" box section later so i can make a small stand for my engine.

Do i need a particular grade of steel for this or shall i just ask him for a few metres of 1" section? Also how much should i expect to pay per metre?

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

No special grade needed I doubt, like you said, just ask for normal box section, as a guide I just paid 9.50 ish for 7.5 m of 25x25x2mm box.
