Zetec cooling system
Need a favour, can anyone with a zetec setup and no heater count up how many silicone hoses/ally pipes they used when setting up their coolant system,
I don't want to get so far through and run out lol
Pics would also be appreciated
Cheers

Can't answer your question, but I would say it might be worth looking at a Raceline water rail
(http://www.raceline.co.uk/products/part_section.asp?SectionID=54&CategoryID=4). There may be cheaper options.
On the face of it it looks like a lot of money for something that doesn't add any performance, but it tidies things up no end. More importantly
it reduces the amount of hose - mine has pipe from the rail and water pump to the radiator only (two 90 degree bends and two short straight pieces).
If you add up the cost of silicon on a normal zetec installation the price is similar to my £50 of pipe plus the Raceline rail.
Just a thought. You'll notice a distinct lack of silicon in my installation.

I will be honest, I prefer the look of the full setup with a ally pipe running parallel withe the chassis

Yup, it depends on whether you like shiny silicon and pipes
