IAC and ISC valve - same thing ??

Hi

Been busy labelling engine connectors on my MK1 Mazda MX5 tonight.

There's one under the throttle body below the TPS which my Haynes manual says is the Idle Air Control valve - IAC.

A PDF I have says there is an Idle Speed Control Valve - ISC.

Everything I've found on interwebnet suggests these are one and the same thing and I only have one connector.

Can anyone just confirm please ? I don't want to pull the loom to find I'm missing something....

thanks in advance

Paul
