megajolt is for ignition only (like if you run carbs) and mega squirt is for the ignition AND injection system for fuel injection systems.

yes you will benefit, as you have a fully mappable system

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I jolted my cvh, which is on twin 40's, because the dissy was on the way out and it was the cheapest option.
- £80 for the unit second hand but unused.
- £15 for Edis (AND PLUG) off ebay.
- £15 for everything else from the scrappy.
- An hour to make the loom, and an hour each for the TPS and CPS bracket.

You will see benefits in drivability, fuel economy and bhp but you will need to get it set up on a rolling road.
Some people use the data logging on the Megajolt and adjust the different rev/load bins but you are only working on acceleration, a rolling road has lamda which the jolt does not

£200 should more than cover everything if you shop around a bit (inc a shot on the rollers)

have you got a standard dizzy at the moment ?
what carb's are you using ?

I assume its a fast road or race tunned one with the vacuum advance removed then - so as above swapping to the TPS version of megajolt should help drivability, fuel economy and bhp (thats what the vacuum advance is ment to do, but it gets confused by multi carb setups thats why they remove it)

the TPS sensor should already be on your carbs (its what the R1's use as standard)

then you just need the megajolt unit, EDIS4, coil pack, VR sensor, trigger wheel and new ignition leads (to suit the coil pack)

If I were you I'd start unting for bargans on that lot now, then upgrade over the winter
