Impressive specs but the price is just ridiculous!

I like the sound of flat plane crank V8 engines such as TVR's AJP8 etc!

Very swank

At that kind of kerb weight I guess the engine must be one of those siamesed bike engine affairs...?

@ £125k I think I'd be more inclined to treat myself to an Aston DB9, Lotus 211, hand built made to measure Ti framed cycle and a nice holiday

I would be wanting mats AND flaps at that price!

Very though!

As for being 'overpriced'... well Grandad always said that you get what you pay for! As this trounces some much more expensive (and as equally unpractical) machinery, then perhaps it's VFM after all... ???

I think its stunning and I bet its bonkers to drive.

The price is collossal but I kind of see why.
Only 25 available and they will all sell. Not in many peoples league financially but I bet if money was not a consideration any oone of us would have one!

The article states it's a Hartley V8, which is basically two Hayabusa top ends made into a v8. very nice (but a little pricey...)

Linky

They also do a Hayabusa conversion to mate a busa engine to a car gearbox (type 9 et al). This kind of defeats the object IMHO

£125k plus vat @ the new 20% will make it £150k

I think some of the comments in this thread are relevant

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Yeah that has got bike engine V8 all over it.

I would go for a Holshot racing V8 instead.

£26K just for an engine. That will get you a 3000cc V8 twin turbo that revs upto 10K+. Oh and is a 1000bhp, beat that in a se7en mr £125K Atom man!!!

is it surprising the "locost builders" resoundingly denigrate a 125K skeletal road car. is it because its too similar to a locost for comfort? would we be crapping all over a ferrari penned by paininthefezza, for the same money?

some gits with more money than tony blair will no doubt show up at track days expecting to be worshiped like john prescott at the all you can eat chinese championships... but thats life?
