Large Workshop, Garage & Additional Workshop for Sale (3 Bed Semi included!)

Hello fellow builders, I'm changing jobs & therefore am moving house.

I built my original locost in the 30sq m workshop, which was custom made for the purpose & features a remote operated roller shutter door (my favourite bit!) & electric hoist for pulling engines out - ideal for any builders looking to move to Brum

There's also another Regular garage on the plot with a smaller workshop adjoining it which was a woodworking area housing lathe, bandsaw, grinder, a work bench filing cabinets & shelving so not exactly tiny either!!

It's a petrol head's ideal house, so if you know anyone that's looking , please drop 'em a link - thanks folks.

.......PS almost forgot, there's a nice 3 bed semi included in the sale also, but that's just fine detail if you ask me

All for £130k (Locost not included - I'm keeping that!!)

1 bed flats are more than that down here and a garage/workshop that big is distant dream

If only we were both single ...........

I think its got something to do with Sarah wanting a garden with plants and a lawn and space for the dog vs. me wanting a large workshop and a low maintenance (smaller) garden. She wins.

Absolutely perfect for someone to move into and live in Bliss.......

Then you rent the house out to a nice family that will fund your builds and have a clause that t meal times they bring you some into workshop heaven.

£130K! Thats £30K less than our mid-terrace shoe box!

I wish I lived up north.

That would cost about £300k where I live.

Gutted. . .

Good luck with the sale

Well, I'm much further up north and houses like that go for about £180,000 round here.

Sound ideal to me, just what I need

thats ridiculous, 130k wouldnt even get you a house here, let alone one like that, would be closer to 200k down here

2 years ago I sold a 2 up 2 down rabbit hutch of a house, got £147k for that, and it had no gardens or garage etc

Sarah has relented - i can have a 'garage' as big as I want

As long as her kitchen is as big

I tried suggesting that it should be a four to one ratio and that was poo poo'd.

Thanks for the kind words folks

It's been a cracking place for us & it'd be nice to see it go to someone who would use it as nature intended!!

The tricky bit now will be how to get all my sneakily purchased stuff out of there without it being detected by the better half

A good drink for the removals boys should do it I reckon

Nope - you get her in the house with the removal boys and make sure she's paranoid about them breaking stuff, then get your mates round to help you unload the garage / workshop

G/f did something different when she moved in, i was busy loading up the garage with all my stuff that had been stored at hers whilst she was in the house throwing out all my stuff!
