Wanted: leaf spring
Hi all,
This is a very long shot, but is there anyone near Southampton who has an old leaf spring, or piece of lying around that they want rid of? I need
some bits of the metal to make some body slappers for some metal finishing....

I am nowhere near you, in Co. Durham, but we have more old leaf-springs lying around than you could point a stick at!
Telle me what you want, and if you are willing to pay postage/courier I will cut them as you require!
Regards
Jon

Hijack, Sorry,
Why Spring steel?
Hardness?
Heating and quenching regular steel would not get you similar result and easier farication?
Thanks
Beware of what you wish.. for it may come true....
