It's a drinks holder for Audi and Porsche. They don't come with very good ones.

Another vote for coffee table! Planning to do one as a winter project but Mrs doesn't seen to impressed, good job i will be to heavy for her to move

Alex got it with 2.5ltr Daimler Hemi V8.
He did see it in the back of my car 6 months ago. Its a 1960's classic.
