That falls foul of the trade description act as it is clearly a chimpanzee, whcih belongs to the ape family, and is not a monkey.

no no no, its a product name, not description. The product in question can get around this fact because of common usage. Though not technically correct, general usage of "monkey" in reference to a chimpanzee, is common therefor would be acceptable as a trade name, but not a descriptor.

I'd have thought they'd get away with it on the basis that "Trunk monkey" is an idea not a breed. I guess in their explorers and F150s they could have a Trunk Gorilla
