Richard Wagner was a German composer, conductor, theatre director and essayist, primarily known for his operas (or "music dramas", as they were later called). Wagner's compositions, particularly those of his later period, are notable for their complex texture, rich harmonies and orchestration, and the elaborate use of leitmotifs: musical themes associated with individual characters, places, ideas or plot elements. Unlike most other opera composers, Wagner wrote both the music and libretto for every one of his stage works. Famous extracts from his operas include the "Ride of the Valkyries" and the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin, popularly known as the wedding march "Here Comes the Bride".

X factor is like homosexuality.

I know it goes on, I have no objections to it, but will never have any involvement in it

what make me laugh is that so many people hate the x factor and get dragged into a debate every time its mentioned. If you hate it so much, start a thread titled "I hate the x factor and the reasons for that" then you can all go on and on and on and on about it. If you hate it so much just ignore it.

There are lots of things I hate but I dont rant on about it every time some one mentions it in a post.

Good morning by the way......

Morning Mr grumpy,

its a forum. and on forum's the whole reason of a post, is for others to comment on the subject
some in favour, and some not

I for one, can not stand these type of moronic programmes, and X factor is the one that started my hatred

but for some reason, i dont mind Britain's got talent, as some times you do get a glimse of some hidden talent

Think it's fair to say that you get the odd glimpse of talent in the X-factor. Just a shame very little of it gets recognized by the panel of 'experts'... and when it does it's invariably channelled entirely the wrong way

The lass Rebecca has a very distinctive voice for example. She'd be dynamite with the right material, but even if she wins the show, she won't be given it! They'll give her mind numbing pop-pap in the hope of making a quick buck!
