Irish Potcheen

My Dad used to bring it back occasionally, bloody lethal stuff

The correct name is "POTEEN" yeah its pronounced POTCHEEN........

Make a mash of POTATOES.....

IE COOK lots of potatoes, boil em up, till they are mushy... mash em in a lot of liquid....say 20lbs potatoes to 10 gallons liquid... add 10 lbs sugar to hot mash..... then at the right temp add yeast.

when fermentation ceases, distill it.

GOOGLE is ya friend.......

Cheers

Rich
