Hi all,

My Jag S-type is now on ebay, if anyone is interested.

Cheers,

I was thinking of buying my dads one - pretty much exactly the same as yours - hell of a lot of car for the money - crazy how they have depreciated. Possible donor perhaps? Front engine - rear wheel drive...auto though...could be fun! Good luck with the sale.

The gearbox on the manual ones is the valuable bit. Fits on a Ford v6 Duratec and RWD. Then again, the Jag V6 is pretty much the same engine so you might as well use the lot.

My next door neighbour has a mint one on a 57 plate with <10,000 miles on it he's had from new. Don't mention depreciation to him!

Thing to watch though is that the 5th gear is not an overdrive, so you need a tall axle ratio or you will rev the nuts off the engine . S type diff is sonething like 3.1, and the wheels are big.
