They are excellent bits of kit, but a jumper will keep you warmer! Its good for doing jobs where you can't really wear gloves, but you can put your hands back in your pockets every so often.

I have one, it's excellent, stays warm for over 24 hours if you fill it
As Chris says, they're good for keeping in your pocket and keeping the pocket warm.
They get too hot to touch if you open the bag a bit and let more air circulate, so keep them in the bag.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago for £15 inc delivery, it's now £18.95 but still worth it in my opinion
