I'll take that as a 'no' then shall I? ....

Talking of sandwiches.....apart from the Waitrose Pastrami .....

Went to M&S last week and got (sandwiches) Tiger Prawn with smoked salmon, and Turkey, stuffing and cranberry ....yummy!!
It was like having an early crimbo dinner in a couple of sarnies ....

I don't think so - but I don't like to compromise on lunch

You are what you eat says Gillian McKeith - which is a bit scary as long as you don't eat whatever she eats!!

Call me a simpleton, but a sandwich should be a simple affair, none of this fancy guff in hi fashion euro breads.

Hand sliced white bloomer
Mature Cheddar cheese
Branston pickle (NOT sandwich grade)
Hand sliced white bloomer

Personally I don't even like butter/marge in mine

That's a sandwich!

Cathedral mature cheddar
Some (ideally home-cooked) ham
Little bit of Heinz sandwich spread
Warburton's Seeded Batch

What more could you want?

Fish finger and mayonaise is the best! and occasionally only put the mayo on one slice and ketchup on the other, yum!

three best sandwiches for me are...

Fish finger sandwich - thick white bread or roll, margarine, cod fish fingers, bit of ketchup or mayonnaise!

Salad toasted sandwich - lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese between two slices of toast

Crisp sandwich - two thick slices of white bread, margarine, filled with McCoys (or other thick sliced) crisps

I like fish finger sandwiches as well, the trick is to get the fish fingers really hot, while the bread remains at room temperature. V nice.
