Sierra indicators.
Morning Guys
Yesterday I was checking all my lights prior to MOT. Everything worked fine until I turned the hazards on/off, worked fine for a bit but then nothing.
All switchgear is Sierra and I have checked the fuses, where should I look from here??

Is it just the hazards that are not working? If so, is the relay working?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

With hazards on the right indicators stay on, nothing flashing. With hazards off and left indicator switched on the right hand indicators are on,
nothing flashing.

Probably had water get into the switch, a squirt of contact cleaner onto the hazard switch area may cure the problem . WD40 may work??

Yep, bit of a weak point is the hazard switch as it allows water into the switch easily, have a fiddle with the hazard switch but dont try and take it
apart, dont ask how I know  lots of little springy bits that fly well!
The indicator assy includes the hazard switch so just try and get another assy.

From checking through the search thingy how do you tell the difference between the MK1 and MK2 stalks???

Check the part number on the rear of the switch to be sure to get the correct one. The shape of the hazard switch lens may be of help , some are round
and some square. It's worth giving it a good squirt first , it worked for mine a couple of years ago and it's still working.
