Hispec rear caliper mount to Birkin axle

Hi all, from Japan

I've installed Hispec rear caliper to my Birkin. (SVA VW type)

I made disk rotor bell and caliper mounting bracket from alloy.
I purchased rotor from Wilwood model 160−3305

This is top view of the linkage, which made from 7N01 alloy.
I made a side brake linkage and modified cable.

side view, linkage height is about 45 mm.
I thought about back space increasing against the back intrusion between fuel tank for safety, also thought about weight reduction.

This is alloy brake mounting bracket.

Side brake lever and bracket weight was reduced by drilling around 50 grams. ( Ha Ha Ha )

Pulling feel of lever is pretty good.
It has rigidity.

Thank you all

Birkin is made in my former home town .........Pinetown near Durban in sunny South Africa.
Seems they are moving to making wide body ones as well.

I would love to have one

Thank you mookaloid,

I've made ali hat by myself too.

Yeah, mangogrooveworkshop,

About ten years ago, I've gone to Birkin near by Pinetown in SA.
They was making New RV.

I thought they were not so busy at that time

But Birkin had removed office now.
Where had they gone?
