Cheap PC motherboards, AMD chips, RAM

All these combinations pulled from a working enviroment a few years back. They've been in storage ever since, but I'm having a clearout to raise funds for the car.

Perfect for a cheap upgrade, bulding a spare/garage PC, etc. Not exactly up with modern technology, but not so old to be useless either!

All have been powered up and taken through BIOS POST (power-on self test). No further testing has been done, but all were believe to be working when removed.

The '1U' fans are low profile, designed to fit in a 1U (1 3/4" high) cases. They'll work fine in a regular desktop case, but are a bit noisey compared to a regular fan. You could always buy a desktop fan off eBay if you want them quieter.

They're were all going to go on eBay but thought I'd give you guys a chance first. £20 each, regardless of spec. First come, first served of course.

Cheers, Chris

Martin - I'm in Gerrards Cross, South Bucks. Depending on where you are in Surrey it might be within collection distance. Up to you!

dhutch - I'd prefer to sell them as they are rather than swapping parts, as that's how they were pulled from the working systems. If I start chopping and changing bits I'll loose some confidence in them working correctly.

Yes, I can post at cost price. Yes, Paypal is fine.

Everyone else - I'll have stock check tomorrow, but all sounds fine. You've all got first dibs in the order that you've posted.

Chris,

Would be interested in the fastest one you have left....

I want to upgrade my current board & processor AMD Semperon 1.85Ghz (are your AMD min 3Ghz?)

Do the motherboards have old type PCI bus's or the newer PCI2 Bus's as i've got older cards, also need IDE bus for Hard disk rather than SATA

Can collect from GX as i drive past every day to the office in Slough.

Thanks for the IO PCB link. Not seen them that cheap, must be all the M/B lacking old I/O interfaces.

If you have any MSI MS-6741 athlon 64's left , let me know total inc P&P etc and I'll paypal you the funds.

good luck with the fund rasing.

Done that a few times myself.

Feels good to put old "loft junk" to a good project.

Distance is far engough for post to be chaeper/easier. At £5.90 / Gallon makes if more difficult to just pop out to get a bargain.

No problem, Martin. Just be aware that someone has cut the blue audio jack off, presumably to reduce the height for the 1U case, so there will be no line in function.

Good timing! I've just booked them onto the courier about 20 mins ago. Am going to take them to work tomorrow to be collected from there.

Sorry it's taken me a while, I appreciate I've been a bit slow getting everything together to get these sent out.
