Saying hello...

Hi to all,

Thought i'd pop up a short post to introduce myself on here.

I've just finished building my 1st ever kit car, a GBS Zero, and am
also a member on the RHOCaR forum.
I've been a viewer of this forum for quite a while now and have found
many an answer to build problems, laughed at many a joke and
found the help given very useful, so thought it about time i signed up
and joined in.

I'll post a pic of my car when i've figured out how to do it. So, as the title
says, Hi to all and i look forward to getting to know new peeps.

Nick.

Welcome!

There have been a few threads asking Q's about the Zero on here recently. Perhaps we will get some first hand answers rather than just speculation and observation now.

Ayup, where in Derbyshire are you? Just a vague area as I don't want to encourage stalkers I'm near Chesterfield.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I'm just off J25 of M1 with my RIOT, happy to meet up when the weathers better.

How did you get on with IVA/DVLA? I found Nottingham VOSA very helpful.

Very good at Watnall test station, as you say, they're really helpful.
Got there for an 8.30 test, all done and away for 10.30 with a first time pass so
i'd have to rank them 10 out of 10 if i'm honest.

Not registered it yet with the DVLA as the IVA was the 6th Dec and with xmas etc
funds where a tad stretched.
No rush as i'm not driving it until all the salts gone from the roads and the weather is
a bit better, especially as this is my first kit / build and i'll need to learn mine and the cars limits
first. Don't want a catastrophe as my initiation ceremony!

Cheers,

Nick.
