Im using a supercharger and an intercooler from a Renault 5/Renault 21.
Its in a side duct (Mid engine car) so is the same as a front mounted.

I have got one of these on mine

http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=340_367&products_id=2258

235mmX100mm 13 row. fits perfectly behind my steering rack with a little lip hanging just below the chassis to flick air up through it.

its got more capacity than the standard one but there is an oil thermostat on the engine so it cant over cool the oil. if you haven't got an oil thermostat then dont go too big as you will over cool the oil

Sorry, just read the question again and see OIL cooler not AIR cooler.

Im using an oil / water heat exchanger which seems to work very well so far. The test will be when its driving on the road though.

Heat Exchanger fitted
