I used a Polo rad on my Viento as they're generally considered to be pretty good. Nice and compact too as they're double cored.

I've got a Mercedes 190 rad, 292mm wide x 320mm high (core area), triple row, copper/brass construction with plastic tanks top and bottom. Listed in local rad. dealer book for up to 2.5 litre cars. In and out pipes are on the side but the overall rad is small enough for that not to be a problem. Its a Luego Locost chassis which I believe is the same size as the Velocity at the front end.

Few pics in my archive.

Hot but not bothered...

Escort MK2 from Burton Power - alloy and not cheap! Not sure if a Westy or Caterham one will fit though?
