original or copies?

Hi all, i am about to do a service on my seven yr old car (Vauxhall)
What is the best way to go?
oil filter / air filter / oil / pollen filter etc

Check you Vaux' dealer. Service kits from them are pretty cheap. Then compare prices to "OE quality" aftermarket filters from your local motor factor. Remember these are not copies... they're the same filters as these companies make for the car makers and paint and box in thier colours.

I'd go with oe oil filter and decent oil - mobil 1 or something and pattern parts for the rest myself

essential engine oil should be any decent quality 5w/30 fully synthetic none of the rest matters except plugs which should be NGK, Champion or Bosch. Vauxhall/Opel multi point plugs are of Bosch manufacture.

i found vauxhall cheaper than all the local motor factors. ring them first and say your trade and it almost half's the price
