I know it's been done before, but ideas keep changing.

What TIG is suitable for a learner?

Is scratch start a no-no?

TIG Welder

Ive bought a R-Tech 200A DC welder , its quite good to learn on .

But beware the Flow meter on the supplied regulator is totally inacurate

Also you might want to get a smaller & lighter WP9 torch although this is rated at only 120 A
