Push/pull gear shift cable

Anyone got or know where i can get a 1 meter gearshift cable for a BEC? I've tried a guy on ebay but i'm not very impressed and i can't get hold of cable-tec (will they even sell me a single cable?). There is another guy on ebay but they want something like £60 which i thought was a bit steep. I even went to a few boat chandlers near me that were hopeless.

Thats fine but how do you stop the outer cable from moving? The ones i've seen have bulkhead fixings at each end.

Cable tec will make whatever you want with whatever fittings you want, no minimum order either.

I got a custom clutch cable last week made to my drawing, ordered tues morning arrived on wednesday morning. The guy on the phone was extremely helpful too.
