sierra diff tool wanted please

Hi, does anyone have the tool for undoing the castleated lock rings on the output bearings on a 7" sierra diff, before i buy one, that i could buy or borrow please?

Ooh you're posh - I just use a bit of flat bar of suitable size held across the diameter and it gives enough purchase to undo the ring.

i have seen a very clever person use an old brake disc,

with 6mm bolts through it, in strategic places..

then turn the disc like a steering wheel

hope this makes sense.

if not will try and get some pics...

Just realised do i even need to undo these to remove the otput flanges, or are they circliped in (or similar) from the inside?

on the bolt on shafts you need to remove the rear cover and there is a circlip on the inside..
