Does anyone know of anyone in or near plymouth that can supply and fit or just fit a roll cage to my mk? heard about the back having to come off and i don't want just anyone doing the job. Would go to mk but its a long way...

Send a U2U to "Neville Jones", he did the bending for my cage.

Not done it myself, but I am in Plymouth with a recently rebuilt garage if you need a hand fitting a cage, I am sure I can try and be useful?!

Thanks Josh.

Yes, I could do a cage if asked, either standard MSA spec or lightweight, weld in yourself, or I could come down in my old bus and do the job for fuel money.

Cheers,
Nev.

A work colleague recently mentioned that his son is a tool maker at a local fabricator/engineering company (up Estover somewhere)should I need anything made for my Cobra build.
They apparently have made stuff for the motorsport industry and worked on Radicals etc.
I Could make enquiries as to whether they could make a cage, if you like.
BTW, your MK wouldn't happen to be a blue BEC with Rizla decals on the side?
If so, I saw you on Outland Rd last Sat, when I was walking back from Argyle.

Naw, disappointingly, you were very sensible pulling away from pedestrian crossing outside Morrisons (but, I suppose, it was busy) - and you need to ditch that R1 Can - far too muted and civilised!!
Is it an R1 engine under the bonnet - or summat else?
Whereabouts in Plymouth are you? - like Tegwin, willing to give you a hand anytime, should you need it.

I'm in Hartley Vale (down behind the Golden Hind pub - just off Manadon roundabout.)
I think yours is the only other BEC I've seen around Plymouth since selling my Tiger. (Must admit, I do miss her.)
How long have you had the MK - did you build or buy it? You'll have to let me have a closer look sometime.
